Feasting with the Ancestors
The long awaited second series of Feasting With The Ancestors 2-3 November 2019. Hosted by Lucy O’Hagan of Wild Awake and Courtney Tyler of Hips and Haws Wildcrafts.
We invite you to join us in the woods to enjoy a weekend of foraging for plants and fungi, creating a fire by friction and to create a local wild feast.
This weekend promises to be a space in which you can unwind and connect with nature and learn more about wild foods and traditional techniques and to eat as our ancestors did.
We will share the collective feast together on Sunday with local wild food from the Wicklow forest that surrounds us.
10am-4pm each day Saturday and Sunday 2-3 November 2019.
Suitable for ages 17+, children are welcome with their parents- please discuss with us prior to booking if you will bring a child as there are limited places.
Dress for the Irish weather so that you are comfortable.
Bring lunch on Saturday, snacks for both days & water. We will all collaborate to provide the feast together on Sunday from the weekend foraging and Courtney and Lucy’s wild food larder.
Early bird tickets are available at a reduced price prior to 1st October 2019 for 130 euro per person and after this date will be the full rate of 145 euro per person.
